The opening week of the new Lac Serreire did not disappoint with a total of 89 carp caught by the three anglers.

Iain in Middles caught 39 carp, his biggest being a 41lb 8oz common together with 20 x 30s.

Steve in Tim and Mary’s caught 36 carp with 2 x 40s to 46lb and 25 x 30s to 38lb.

Marc in Island finished his week with 14 to 38lb, his haul included 12 x 30s.

Successful tactics were a combination of pop-ups, bottom baits and wafters fished over the Serreire Coconut Creme and Serreire Shellfish boilies, Coppens pellet and house mixed particle.

Growth rates of these fish have been exceptional since introduction so next season will be very exciting indeed!!
